We just cannot believe it’s June, already! Where is the year going? How is your to-do list for 2015 coming along? Perhaps we shouldn’t ask!
If sorting out your social media was one of your priorities for this year, then you’re in luck. We are excited to let you know that this June, our founder Alison Battisby will be teaching two workshops with General Assembly in London. For those that don’t know, General Assembly is a fantastic educational institution for entrepreneurs and startup companies, that aims to transform thinkers into creators. The workshops are detailed below.
Social Media Bootcamp on Friday 12th June, 10am-5pm
This bootcamp will introduce students to the current social media landscape in 2015, and explores how it can be used for maximum results (for brands as well as agencies).
Participants will leave with a detailed understanding of both the current social media landscape and how to evaluate which tools or social platforms are the best fit for their organisation’s strategic goals.
Topics to be covered will include: an overview of social media platforms, current social media trends and their implications, how to tailor social media tools to your existing business strategies and social media tools for monitoring and ROI.
Case studies and tactics will be presented throughout the session and participants will gain hands on knowledge through breakout sessions.
Social Media Strategy Mapping on Tuesday 16th June, 6.15pm-9.15pm
If you’ve been tasked with creating a social media strategy, then this workshop is for you. Social media initiatives don’t start when you register a Facebook or Twitter account and start posting announcements, it begins much sooner.
In this workshop, you’ll be taken through a seven-step methodology called Strategic Mapping that will help guide your efforts to develop an actionable social media strategy. You’ll learn how to structure your social media efforts, deploy your resources, and ultimately launch a social media campaign that is professional and provides results you’ll be able to interpret and understand.
